Verdant:

Verdant is a name synonymous with innovation, creativity and a desire to commercialise software solutions.

Verdant and SonarData joined forces in 1997 to develop and market the award winning echoView product. The two companies merged in 2001 to form the Verdant Group, which expanded in 2003 to include AQ1 Systems.

New opportunities have now arisen in the eHealth sector. To make the most of these opportunities, a new management structure is required.

George Giannakopoulos, one of the two founding directors of Verdant, and Dr Stephen Chau have completed a management buy-out of Verdant Programming and Verdant Health, thus separating the eHealth activities from the other marine-focused companies.

The share holding of the other companies (SonarData, AQ1 Systems) remain unchanged and are collectively known as Myriax.

Verdant Group now is made up by Verdant Programming, Verdant Health and Medscope.
