Verdant Programming was established in 1990 as a progressive software and web development company. Verdant Programming has been working closely with the Tasmanian Government and private business sector for over a decade. The company has successfully instigated the commercialisation of a number of products which have been exported internationally to over 28 different countries.
Our management team brings together technical design, technical programming, analytical and project management skills to all projects. Verdant Programming is an Australian Government Endorsed Supplier and is a signatory to the Government Information Technology and Communications Contract.

- Electronic Information Tool (EIT) Verdant Programming has been contracted to develop a state-wide electronic information tool to support the management of cases received by Child and Family Services. The application has been developed in .NET utilising Microsoft SQL server technologies.
- Exhibit Management System The Exhibit Management System has been developed for the Department of Police and Public Safety to handle the management of property and evidence for Tasmania Police. This application has been developed in .NET and utilises a Microsoft SQL server.
- eDAPIS (Electronic Drugs and Poisons Information System) This is an application that we developed for Pharmaceutical Services Tasmania. The project involved the real time capture of the dispensing of narcotic information from selected community pharmacies in Tasmania. The application was written in .NET and utilised HL7 messaging protocols. The original Drugs and Poisons Information System (DAPIS) has been in use for over 8 years. We currently have DAPIS installed state-wide in Tasmania and South Australia.
- Workers Content Management System (WCMS) The WCMS content management system has been developed for Workplace Standards Authority. It facilitates the dissemination of information through an online portal. This interface has been developed using .NET.
- Metro Tasmania Verdant Programming successfully developed a customised Sign In / Sign Out application for Metro Tasmania. The application was written in .NET and is used as a desktop application for the organisation.
